This hotel in Rotorua offers a prime location near the lake and bustling eateries, making it a great choice for convenience. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and felt more like an upscale apartment. However, the breakfast options were pricey and somewhat limited, which was a bit of a letdown. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but the shower pressure could use improvement and some amenities felt underwhelming.

The family room was stunning and had a high-end apartment vibe, complete with a huge tub and shower. However, the frosted glass window meant we didn't have much outlook.

Regent hotel remains my favorite in Rotorua. The rooms are exceptional, and the service is top-notch. The location is perfect, just steps away from a vibrant dining scene. Although our thermal pool was a nice touch, the experience was slightly marred by a worn bed in our room that affected our comfort.

The private thermal pool was a nice feature, but it's a shame about the bed issue overshadowing the stay.

The Regent hotel provided us with a truly memorable stay. The staff, particularly the manager at check-in, were incredibly helpful and made us feel welcome right from the start. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from Eat Street and the lake, which was perfect for dining options. Our room was clean and modern, although the bed was a bit short for my tall husband. The breakfast was outstanding, and we appreciated the choice between continental and hot menu items. However, we had to manage our luggage up a set of stairs, which could be a bit inconvenient for some. Overall, it was great value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again, opting for a downstairs room next time.

My stay at Regent of Rotorua was somewhat disappointing, especially considering the high expectations I had. The hotel itself had a lovely ambiance and the staff was welcoming, but the dining experience was not up to par, and I faced some inconveniences with lost items. On the plus side, the rooms were quite nice and the location was good, but overall, I felt it lacked value for money due to the issues experienced.

We had a lovely stay at the Regent, perfectly located in the heart of Rotorua. The rooms were beautifully designed and clean, while the service was exceptional and attentive. However, our experience was somewhat marred by noisy construction next door and issues with cleanliness in the ground floor room. Overall, the charm of the hotel, along with the high-quality breakfast, made it a worthwhile visit despite these drawbacks.

Rooms

Our room on the second floor was wonderfully designed with great amenities, though the ground floor option lacked cleanliness and was quite dark.
